Hi!! My school took the Secondary section to see Twelfth Night on Tuesday last week. It was quite interesting and enjoyable. After the play, we had lunch in Mall of the Emirates (which is a famous mall in Dubai as it houses the Ski Dubai.) On Thursday, we are going to a park for end of term.

Hey!!!! It’s been so long, we just recently had our easter holiday and got back in to school last to last week, and mine was pretty good. I had a egg fight in uptown villas with some of my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it, and the rest I spent going out with my friends and staying home with my family. When we came back to school half of our teacher’s were stuck in the U.K because of the, volcano eruption in Iceland! They came back to school last week. Finally we are back to our normal classes otherwise we were doing projects for math, english, history and geography, those were the most boring and hard projects I have ever done especially maths.

My Easter Holiday

Hey its me Eshmael again and I am going to tell you about my easter holiday. During my easter holiday I did loads of fun activities! I went to a Aqua park with my friend Ashley, called Dreamland Aqua park. They have lots of thrilling rides like the toilet flush and the dragon twister. We were there for 4 hours I think. I also watched Bounty Hunter the movie. I did lots of activities but I will only be telling you guys the most exciting ones. I also went Quadbiking, Dune Buggying and lots of other stuff. When we came back 2 of our teachers were missing for 1 week because of the volcano that erupted in Iceland. But now everything is back to normal. :o

Hi. It’s me Karim from royal Dubai school. We had an Easter holiday for 2 weeks. When we came back we had 2 teachers that were missing. When we heard that they got stuck in London the secondary were all worried and wondering if they would come back. After a week when they came back al of the secondary had to do a speech on anything. I did mine on jets. Do you do speeches in your school?

during my easter holidays i experienced plenty of exciting things for example i went to i fly dubai, it’s a small room inside a mall, the air resistence is strong enough to make us fly, that’s fun. The most fun part was when i went go-carting with my brother it’s a hugh place near my house it’s called Dubai Auto Drome. there were really fast cars there and i enjoyed my self alot. =]

Hello it’s me Steffany!

Last week our school went to watch a play by Shakespeare called Twelfth night at the mall of the emirates and it was very funny! We went with busses to the play and it was allot of fun!!

I can’t wait for this week to end because we will have a two week break and we won’t have school, but the best part is on Thursday our secondary will be going on a trip to Mushrif park for the day and it will be allot of fun!

Hey its me Eshmael again. I watched a play by Shakespeare called Twelfth Night last Tuesday on the 23rd. I couldn’t understand some of language but at times it was quite funny. The play lasted about 3 hours and lots of other schools came and the whole theatre was full of children. After the play we ate at the food court in the mall. It was the best trip I have ever been to.

Unfortunately I haven’t had the chance to actually watch ballet here in Dubai; however I have seen several shows back in the U.K.

The most interesting performances that I’ve seen was “The Swan Lake”, it was an amazing show.

I haven’t really got a favourite dancer but I do think “Adele Astaire” and “Darcy Bussell” are extremely talented dancers…

Hi!! My name is Steffany van Dyk. I am 12 years old turning 13, on the 8^th September. I am originally from South Africa, though I live in Mirdiff a small area in Dubai.

I have lived in Dubai for 4 years and I love it! I am in Y7 and I attend “Royal Dubai School”; my favorite subjects are Art, Drama and P.E.

My favorite color is black, red, grey and white.

There are five members in my family. I have an older brother and sister, making me the youngest!

My sister’s name is Nadine she is 19 years old and is recently been staying in South Africa. My brother’s name is Cecil and he is 17 years old.

In my spare time I go out with my friends to malls, or I stay at home with my family.

In nature I am a quiet person. (But not always!) My hobbies are listening to music, drawing, playing the guitar, shopping, going to the desert and many more.

I think that one of my favourite films would be High School Musical because I stared in “London’s West End- HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL” in July and November 2008.

And that is what got me into the singing and choreography…

It was a thrill to perform with professionals such as” LUCY BLAKEMAN” and “JOHN PAYTON” for more than a month!!!

When I am older I would want to be an actress but if not a teacher…

Hi my name is Ashley Hayden and I am 12 years old. I am from Uk but I live in Dubai in an area called Mirdif in a massive 3 floor house with its own swimming pool. I go to school in a place called Royal Dubai School which is very nice and has its own Swimming pool instead of going to a public swimming pool.

On my weekends I usually play on my playstation 3 online or quad biking(ATV) on the sand dunes here which are enormous and are fun to drive on but I usually go paintballing with my friends. I have Lived in Dubai for 2 years so far and might be planning to move back to the Uk but for now I will just be living the dream by the beach which is really close. Our beaches are very calm and very clean with not many people crowded on to them so I go there all the time.
